HOP History

The Redeemed Christian Church of God House of Praise is part of RCCGNA. The Church started on June 22, 2002 as a house fellowship in a rented apartment with 7 people and was officially inaugurated as a parish on November 17, 2002. At inception, it was named Maranatha Parish but later metamorphosed to House of Praise with the merging of Calvary Temple parish. As the first RCCG parish in Western Canada, which comprises of Alberta, Saskatoon and British Columbia, it has given birth directly or indirectly to several parishes and leaders.  

To the Glory of God House of Praise now occupies her own property and currently in the process of moving into a new facility in Redstone community in the NE quadrant of Calgary.

House of Praise is a family Church with even distribution of ages, sex and cultures. The Church is made-up of successful believers that love God, are visionary, sociable, heavenly-minded, and professional. Typical service in HOP is an epitome of high praise and worship of the Almighty God.

HOP currently operates two praise and power packed services every Sunday and Bible Study every Tuesday evening. Prayer Vigils are held every Friday with the last Friday of every month being a Holy Ghost service.
