Good news! Those who have been attending our services already know that we have had a ‘good problem’ of lack of space in the current auditorium. We are not consistenlty able to all fit into the same sanctuary that looked big to us just a few years ago. We have been able to kind of solve the problem by having two services but we know for sure that this too, cannot continue for too long. God has already promised to enlarge our coast and we must prepare for the harvest. This time, our faith has really increased and we are trusting God for our own sanctuary –1000-seater sanctuary.
How shall this be? Good question. Simple answer: by faith… and works. A wise man said ‘all things are created twice’. How true! We can say the first ‘creation’ of the sanctuary is now complete. All who have the eyes faith can see it. Another wise man said, ‘money answers everything’. Whether we agree or not, money does help in many ways and we need a lot of it for the second creation of this building. Needless to say, we need yours too. ‘O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own’ I Chr. 29:16
Why should I give? …another good question that a good steward should ask. We could make a very long list here but we won’t. Let’s just say for the sake of the lives being changed every day; for the sake of our children (the future leaders) - and for the sake of our society. We know these are very good reasons to give but there is also the fact that there is a reward. When you give, it comes back to you – in greater measure. Please don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something great. Many generations will thank you for it and the heavenly Father will reward you. ‘’Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy’’. IChr. 29:9
How much? Of course you can’t give what you don’t have but the truth is that many of us can give more than we think. Sometimes all it takes is honesty before God, a step of faith, good planning and some sacrifice. How much you end up giving is a personal decision but we will let you know what we need $ 600,000 for the first phase of the project. This amount is the cost of purchase for three acres of land for the church building and other future projects and we are trusting God to have this by December 31. We are looking for 200 household members to give us $3,000 each by December; this goal will be easily achieved. Please note that this is not a levy but a suggested amount. Again, this is a personal decision.
Conclusion. We walk by faith and not by sight and we know that all things are possible with God. Luke 1: 37.
